Read And Tell
This workshop develops children in reading and group recitation while learning about choral reading skills. They will focus on face, voice and speech to perform their poetry text. Drama provides an effective tool to language learning and speaking. Development of character value, Unity, will be emphasized throughout workshop.
Read, Tell and Express
This workshop will foster an appreciation and enthusiasm for poetry learning. Students will learn to read, recite and dramatize poetry focusing on face, voice, sounds, actions, movements and body. Development of character value, Self-Expression, will be emphasized throughout the workshop.
Young Readers Theatre
This workshop aims to develop children to be confident young readers concentrating on voice, face and using puppets to 'act out' their role in the story. They will also learn to re-create short story based on fairy tales. Development of character value, Imagination, will be emphasized throughout the workshop.
Story Theatre
This workshop aims to develop young storytellers to narrate and act out on their own devised story. The storytelling skills learnt will help them in their everyday social interactions and enhance their presentations in class. Development of character value, Social Interaction, will be emphasized throughout the workshop.
Act! Act! Act!
This workshop caters to schools for events like speech day/anniversary celebrations/open house/competitions etc. It offers artistic direction, drama/acting/technical training, and production guidance with logistics support. Trainers will infuse character value development, Confidence, throughout the workshop.
Drama for Drama Club Workshop
A comprehensive 1-year drama workshop provides students with a focused training in drama, acting, production and theatre to maximize their artistic potential and performing abilities while infusing character value development, Excellence, throughout the training.
Theatre Festival (Secondary & above only)
A performing and technical training workshop to provide students with focused training in theatre, perofrming and production to learn and organize their own Theatre Festival in the school. It is a festival of performing acts. Trainers will infuse the character value development, Responsibility, throughout the training.
Community Musicial Theatre
This workshop offers artistic direction, training in theatre/acting/dance/singing and production guidance with logistics/technical support. The musicial will showcase original songs and a packaged DVD copy of the recorded performance will be given to the school. Development of character value, Determination, will be emphasized throughout the training.
Drama for Life - I Feel... I Can... I Will
This workshop will focus on developing students to discuss, explore, improvise and dramatise while learning about issues and coping strategies to handle situations in healthy ways and to experience new positive behaviours. Trainers will facilitate the session using forum and play-back theatre. Development of character value, Awareness, will be emphasized throughout the training.
School OUT! Drama IN!
A 4-day holistic camp to develop students while experiencing dance, multi-sports training and team building activities to build leadership qualities, physical attributes, fitness, discipline and co-ordination. Camp will conclude with group-devised performances. Development of character value, Discipline, will be emphasized throughout the training.
Film Appreciation (Secondary & above only)
Workshop aims to develop students to cultivate a good culture of appreciating films. They will learn to review films to be graded while gaining a better understanding on film language and the history of cinema. They will watch snippets of films from mainstream Hollywood to Asian cinema to engage in film analysis and critical group discussions.
