FLM001 Best Actor!
This programme equips students with professional film and TV acting techniques. Students will learn about acting for the camera and discover the art and craft of what goes on behind the camera as an actor. They will also embark on a journey of selfdiscovery as they discover various truths about themselves through acting.

 

FLM002 Best Picture!
Students will be guided towards creating a short film with a narrative structure. There will be emphasis on teamwork, which will be developed in the process as students learn the basics of filmmaking from preproduction to post-production.

 

 

FLM003 Best Music Video!
Appropriate usage of music coupled with the right images always evoke emotions from viewers, and this programme allows students to do just that. Students will be taught to create their very own music videos through the right blend of audio and visual elements. Copyright issues with regards to the appropriate use of music will also be discussed to create an additional edge on top of the creative skills being taught in producing the music video.

FLM004 Best Screenplay!
Students will be trained to realise the most important aspect of filmmaking: writing a
good script. Differences between writing a book and writing for the silver screen will be emphasised to allow students to focus specifically on visual storytelling, which will elevate them to a higher level of creativity. Various professional writing tips will be shared to enhance the standard of creative writing and language competency in the students.

FLM005 Best Commercial!
Students will learn how to create visual stories, bringing the message across in 45 seconds or below. This programme allows students to create TV commercials with a
strong emphasis on selling a product to the target audience. They will also be guided through brainstorming sessions to generate various ideas and making the critical decision of selecting only the best.

FLM006 Best Cinematography!
This programme focuses on the aesthetics and craft of creating beautiful images on film and video. Basic lighting techniques, together with designing the appropriate shots and angles to enhance visual storytelling, will be taught. Students will also be trained to handle basic equipment such as camera and tripod professionally.

 

FLM007 Best Documentary!
This programme trains students to conduct interviews and researches on various topics. They will be taught both objective and subjective approaches of creating a documentary that speaks to the viewers. A perfect programme for schools to create their very own corporate videos.
