A production of Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Soffian's artistic flair was further complimented with a wholesome curriculum of Curtin's University School of Technology, from which he attained his Bachelor of Arts, Multimedia.

With more than 25 years of experience in the field of Visual Arts and Multimedia, Soffian has impacted every organisation that he has served. He brought home the 1st prize for River View Hotel in the Inter-Hotel QCC Logo Competition. Goodwood Park Hotel was later blessed with the 1st prize in the STPD Best Christmas Decoration, followed by the 2nd prize the following year. At the Asia Pacific Region, Asian Book Awards, Soffian bagged the Silver Award twice for Marked Point Design in 1995 and 1998.

Besides being an award winner and a constant achiever, Soffian is also an avid volunteer to the industry. Simei Care Centre was the lucky recipient of Soffian's charitable nature through the implementation of creative enrichment programmes through the art of wire sculpture. As a FDAWU Union member, he sat as a treasurer for 2 years. Soffian has also been called upon to sit as a panel of judges for numerous national art competitions.

In conclusion, Soffian is a well-rounded and level headed knowledgeable character who is never short of giving. Equipped with the knowledge of Visual and Digital Arts and the wholesome experiences spanning across 25 years in multiple environments, Soffian A. Manap, who is currently our Programme Director at Mastereign Media Arts and Mastereign Visual Arts, is a much sort after intellectual.
