Jovial, fun-going & hard-headed… these are the few words to describe on Derek’s personalities.

Derek started off as a freelance associate trainer in 2007 & has been climbing up the professional ladder. Along the way, he picked up the essences & its aspects of being a media instructor in digital art, motion creation, web design etc. Looking forward on his career path after his studies, he joined in Mastereign Media Arts as a full-time staff in Oct 2008, designated as an in-house trainer.

Graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science (Multimedia & Game Development), Derek has brought in freshly new ideas in enhancing programs for digital animations & game development. His talents and passion has impacted many students with inspirations & motivations in classes & school clubs. Derek aims to inspire many young students in searching their own fortes & encourages them to widen their horizons.

Derek is one of the few honored trainers who guided students in participations of national competitions. Students, under his hands, have won awards such as Gold & First in Creative Award Anti-Drug Art Competition organized by CNB (2007) & a Silver Award in the recent SYF Competition 2009, Art & Crafts section for primary level.

Being a dedicated instructor & always game for new challenges in life, Derek pushes his limits to its highest calibre and has portrayed himself as one of the rising potentials within the community.
