In any discipline, it is important that one believes in himself. It is also essential that art and design achieves its purpose of creating works that are both engaging and visually demanding. So as an instructor, Joyce strives to inspire students to see themselves with the potential that they possess.

Through the classes, students will be engaged to think differently and to look at ordinary things with new eyes. Joyce is a firm believer that ideas and inspiration are essential as through them, technique will follow. Joyce also hopes that through the classes, the students will not only become aware of these aspects in digital art and design but will also only catch an interest to continue this journey for themselves because talent and techniques are not independent elements but always needs to be paired with will, desire and persistence.

As an ardent supporter of Singapore’s local art scene, she believes that we’ve only caught a small glimpse of Singapore’s potential as an up and coming media hub. She considers it an honor to be able to impart her skills and passion to a new generation of young designers who will create a huge wave in the world’s design industry.
