EEM025 PC Trouble Shooting and Networking
Through hands-on assembly, configuration and troubleshooting, students will be equipped with skills in: understanding user requirements, recommending suitable hardware, buying compatible hardware, assembling & configuring, installing OS and other required drivers, hardware and software troubleshooting, virus and spyware prevention, protection and removal.
EEM026 2D/3D Animator
The objective of this programme is to introduce students to computer animation in a creative and dynamic environment. Apart from equipping students with the knowledge in the latest animation technology, this highly interactive course also aims at drawing out student’s imagination and creativity to the fullest potential and exposing them to industrial standards and applications.
EEM027 Product Design and Innovation
Design & Innovation, part of our broadbased education, engages students to build awareness and appreciation of design processes from aesthetics and functionality of design, to application of knowledge and skills. This programme focuses on the aspect of Introduction to Design & Technology (D&T), Design Awareness, Purpose of Design, Principles of Design Application, Drawing and Rendering and Presentation. This module is designed to explore and hone the participants creativity. This programme exposes students to various concepts of the art design by guiding them to work with the latest versions of industry-standard digital art applications.
EEM028 Stop Motion Animator
The main objective of this workshop is to give students the experience of creating their personal models from materials such as clay or plasticine and also stop motion video production incorporated into classroom learning styles. Students will experience creating stop motion video with models they have created, conceptualizing the storyline and having the models act out the scenes instead of using live characters. This workshop bundles aesthetic learning processes with conceptualization of the storyline, creating of the material models, animating the characters and capturing the motion on video. Coupled with video editing software as a tool, students will move onto a journey of editing their videos, adding sounds and music as accompaniment, thus producing an aesthetic model animated video.
EEM029 Graphic Designer
This programme aims at equipping students with the knowledge in the psychology of colour and techniques in using colours to represent emotions in their art or design work through special thematic projects. Students will get to experiment with different colours to communicate a variety of emotions.
EEM030 Digital Photographer
This workshop is designed to take students on an experience of digital photography. Incorporating field trips and camera tricks, students will be exposed to the world of digital cameras and photography. This workshop is designed with the aim of passing knowledge about digital photography and the tricks of the trade to students. With photography techniques, such as profiling, odd angle shots, aperture control, and many
more, students will be exposed to professional photography.

The course takes students into the world of filmmaking, through script analysis, storyboarding and shot lists. They will also be trained to create a vision for their film and focus on the message of the story. As film directors, they will learn how to communicate with core members of the team and be a team leader and player, from working with Actors right up to the Production Designer. The final product will be a short film that they get to direct, which will be screened in class.
EEM037 Film Editor
The course focuses strongly on storytelling through various editing theories and techniques such as the Montage Theory. Students will also be trained to develop a good sense of rhythm and pacing in order to engage the audience and evoke the intended response in them through editing. They will also learn to be good team players, working with the directors and producers to achieve the best results. After-effects and animation will also be covered to enhance the storytelling process. The final product will be a short film that they get to edit, which will be screened in class.
EEM038 Film Producer
Focusing on the business end of filmmaking, students will be trained to think like businessmen and be exposed to various modes of funding and investments for film. They will also learn the importance of networking, marketing and publicity in order to get the film produced and distributed. Management of funds, as well as film budgeting, will also be covered. Censorship issues will also be raised to ensure that the film gets seen by the intended audience without affecting the box office. The final product will be a short film that they get to produce, which will be screened in class.
EEM039 Production Manager
Students get hands-on training with the logistics and production aspect of filmmaking and will be trained to do costeffective budgeting for the film to ensure optimal allocation of funds and resources. They will also learn about scouting for suitable locations according to the Director’s requirement, and scheduling to ensure that the film is shot within a reasonable time frame to save costs. The final product will be a short film on which they work as Production Managers, which will be screened in class.
EEM040 Director of Photography
This course covers cinematography, with emphasis on the more technical aspect of filmmaking such as lighting, camera and lenses. Framing and visual composition, such as Mise en Scene, will also be covered in order to develop a good visual sense in the students. Students will also be trained to work in synergy with the director, eventually fulfilling the intended vision of the film. The final product will be a short film that they get to shoot, which will be screened in class.
EEM041 Back Stage Production
Focusing on technical theatre, this course lets students build skills using a wide range of technical systems such as lighting and sound equipment. Students will gain relevant experience supporting performances by operating sound, lighting and effects.
EEM042 Production Designer
Nurturing students with a keen sense of visual aesthetics into Production Designers, whose primary job is to establish the visual feel and specific aesthetic needs of the film. Students will learn how to design and build sets, including props making. They will be trained to foster a close working relationship with the Director and the Director of
Photography in order to achieve the best visual results for the film. A good visual sense and an eye for detail will also be developed in the process. The final product will be a short film on which they work as Production Designers, which will be screened in class.
EMM043 Music Producer
This is a complete training package which consists of songwriting, vocal techniques, producing original music accompaniment tracks and lastly, the recording of an original composition at a professional recording studio. Through the use of multimedia computer workstations, this course will train students to harness their creativity and learn how to create their own original dance/techno loops based music accompaniment for the songs they have written. The students will be given the opportunity to complete their final project in a studio environment, after which, it will be mixed and mastered as a quality audio CD master.
EMM044 DJ Spin Master
The objective of this programme is to introduce students to the art of being a DJ. Students get to experience the role of a DJ and will be exposed to the use of DJ equipment and basic DJ presentation skills. Emphasis will be placed on building up and improving the oral presentation skills of students as it is an essential critical element for successful DJs. The program explores students’ creativity in creating music remixes and challenges them to build their own signature grooves through computer technology and DJ consoles.

This workshop will take the participants through the complete process of entrepreneurship: from business formation to idea generation to ground survey to an actual business launch. Actual venture grounds may be thematic and can fulfill any suitable opportunities provided by the school or community.
EMM050 Fashion Designer
Students will be introduced to the various aspects and processes of the fashion industry, including design, accessories drawing and fabrics. It offers a unique opportunity to explore creative approaches in solving technicalities in garment design and production, while maintaining a strong understanding of the necessary skills for design development.
EMM051 Hairstylist
An introduction to the hairstyling industry, this programme provides the basic skills in hairstyling, such as product knowledge, long and short hairstyles, colouring and dyeing, fashion sense, etc. Intermediate and advance modules are available.
EMM052 Image Consultant
This programme provides the basic skills in skincare, makeup, attitudes, etiquette, communication, dress sense etc. Students will be exposed to industry training and to incorporate applications of skills taught.
EMM053 Junior Chef
This course covers Kitchen Sanitation, Hygiene, Organization, and Menu Planning. Students will be given hands-on experience such as preparing a complete set meal (Western and Asian), Desserts & Pastries. Through exposure to an actual retail kitchen, students get to plan, prepare, organize and cook, plate and present. Intermediate and Advance Modules are available.
EMM054 Interior Designer
This course provides a foundational introduction to Interior design that covers designing tools, drawing, rendering, and modeling. It offers a unique opportunity to explore creative approaches in solving technicalities in Interior design, trends and modeling, while maintaining a strong understanding of the necessary skills for design development.
EMM055 Beautician / Spa Tech
The Beautician programme will equip students with the various techniques used for cosmetic treatments such as eye treatment, facial therapy and facial massage. Students will learn cosmetic techniques like make-up, eyebrow trimming, and eyelash perming, and the required skills to perform manicures and pedicures. They will also gain exposure of the work environment in a beauty salon.
EMM056 Medical Servies
An introduction to the Medical Services industry, this programme provides the basic knowledge in nursing, emergency responses theory and practice content. It also introduces elements of fundamental medication. Students will also understand the important of Health Wellness of the community as a whole and how they can play a part.
EMM057 Motor GP Services
Students will embark on a learning experience in motor sports that covers Formula 1, Go – Karts, Motorcycles, and Xtreme sports/stunt bikes. They will learn what is required to enter this industry, and will be given foundational training in electrical, mechanical and maintenance skills. Event planning on a large scale will also be covered. Course extension can also cover Go-Kart design and fabrication.
EMM058 Tourism (EBS Module)
This course provides students with a practical foundation to further curriculum-based studies in the areas of travel and tourism, from which they can progress onto higher level studies. It is designed to establish an awareness of concepts and perspectives relevant to the understanding of travel and tourism industries and to give students a framework from which to analyse the various aspects of these industries.
EMM059 Airline Services
The objective of this program is to provide an insight of what it is like to be a crew, be it cockpit, cabin, or ground services crew. It also provides a better understanding in airport facilities and services and in-flight procedures. It sheds light on the need for requirements for stringent measures adopted by airports and airline carriers.
EMM060 Adventure/Teambuilding Instructor
Spanning areas such as trekking, amazing races, survivor-style camps, fun-filled water excursions and many others, this course will set students on the path to becoming an outdoors specialist, able to craft and run adventure camps of all kinds. Skills in leadership, teambuilding, discipline, selfmotivation and other core lifeskills are prevalent throughout the course, and will play a great role in allowing students to help others to help themselves.
EMM061 Hospitality (EBS Module)
The course is organized around two major areas: food and service. The major functional areas of business are addressed with focus placed upon the timely issues, diversity, and challenges within the hospitality industry. Students will be participating in a course, which prepares them in key aspects of service management with special focus on hospitality–related knowledge and core skills.
EMM062 Sports, Health & Wellness
Students will learn to manage the business in health & fitness centres and will gain knowledge in human movement studies in the field of exercise physiology, biomechanical principles, exercise psychology as well as sports safety and emergency responses. Exposure to designer/extreme sports can be customized to suit requirements.
