MM001 Recycles Art
Collecting objects that would normally be thrown away and converting them into art, has long been a favourite technique of many artists. This programme allows students to appreciate this practice which is now much more widespread, and with the growing awareness of the urgent need to reduce, reuse and recycle, art from recycled materials are assembled creatively into innovative art pieces.

MM002 Mixed Media Art
Students learn to use more than one medium, combining various traditionally distinct visual art forms. They will learn the importance of layers and drying time between the layers to ensure the final work has integrity. Students will be creating a mixed-media painting on a theme of their choice. By using cleverly chosen elements and principles of design, images, text, colours, painted images and supporting materials, students can create an interesting painting that expresses social, moral, and/or cultural issues.
