Having to learn the fundamental of fine arts in ceramics, sculptures as well as painting and drawing throughout his three years of diploma and one year degree honors programmed with Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and a bridging studies in Huddersfield University, UK, it has broaden Gazaly’s knowledge on Fine Arts, making it more in-depth. It has also played the role of a ‘survival pack’ for a young art practitioner like him.

Exploration and at the same time getting inspiration and idea are steps that he takes to find out how inspiration or idea can be portrayed in numerous ways, so the next important step for himself to make the idea more adaptable.

Gazaly have been and still getting himself actively involves in art exhibitions locally and internationally. As an artist, he has been seen as someone who is versatile and passionate in experimenting and exploring new forms of art. His art practices are mainly paintings, sculptures, installation art and performance art.

As a person, he is a friendly, down to earth and humble. He is strong willed and
this has helped him clinched several art awards which includes, the Inaugural
Goh Chock Tong Youth promise award in 2005 and Georgette Chen Art
Scholarship in 2004.
